Erykah Badu's "Amerikhan Promise"

An artist in LA, named Steven Lopez did this beautiful painting of Erykah Badu.

Los Angeles artist, Steven Lopez, features the soul goddess, Erykah Badu, in his latest addition the “After Midnight” series. The series combines his two passions - music and art - and is a collection of portraits celebrating notable musicians.
The recent collaboration brought Lopez to Badu’s home in Dallas to complete the signing of 100 limited edition prints which will be available for sale from April 15th, exclusively at http://www.aftermidnightsoul.com. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Badu’s non-profit, Beautiful Love Incorporated Non-Profit Development (B.L.I.N.D.), a charity organization she established to provide community-based programs for inner-city youth.
Lopez, who uses the music of artists as his inspiration for his portraits, describes Badu as one of his favorite performers whose music he has wanted to artistically interpret since first hearing her in concert in 2005. “She understands the healing power of sound and she delivers strength which is often lost in today’s music,” said Lopez.
Through his art, Lopez was able to capture that “strength” and Badu took note. Once he completed the artwork, he posted it to the comment section of Badu’s website and she reportedly loved it. “When I saw the image on Erykah’s MySpace page I was really surprised and extremely honored,” said Lopez. “It was a great feeling to know that she appreciated my work and wanted to share it with her fans."

I think the painting is beautiful. But for 1K, got damn. lol. It'll be a beautiful painting to hang up in a loft or so though if this recession isnt biting your ass.

Christina Milian has called out Teairra Mari for "Track Stealing" SMH.

A Highly placed source gave Bossip this information: Christina recorded this song first, but she passed. The record was then put into the hands of Teairra Mari. Now that song is out and people like the record, Christina wants the record back and has been going around telling people that Teairra stole the record, which is not true. Christina’s mom, who is her fake manager, has been going around cursing out producers and acting a fool. Christina passed on the song, but she doesn’t want anyone else to have it. Everyone’s trying to get their shine to the point where things get very heated when an artist makes a stupid decision to pass on a hot song, and it gets scooped up quickly.

Christina milan needs to stfu, and so does her mom. Like bitch, you passed up on something and now you want it back? Get a grip. & how dumb could you be to pass something up with Kanye. Anything with Kanye West is sure to get you some stacks. SMH!

Woman Biten By Polar Bear

A woman was bitten by a Polar Bear at a Berlin Zoo after she climbed a fence and jumped into it's habitat during the bears feeding time. One polar bear bit her seven times! Zoo workers rescued her while other workers distracted the polar bears.

Obama's New Dog "Bo"

The Obama's new dog "Bo" has finally arrived! Isn't he beautiful. ( i have a thing for puppies ) He is black and white.. ironically. The dog name appeared to have been Charlie at first but was switched to Bo. Im voting for Bo.

Are You Feeling the New Cassie Do!?

I was stunned when i saw this. Cassie to me seems very high maintenance and very closed up, kept to herself kinda gyal. I never thought i'd see her do anything so edgy and wild and ... ridiculous. Some say, since she's been with diddy she's lost it and gone over the edge. Maybe to please him? i dont think this is the case though. Cause i can't see diddy parlaying around with a chick with half her hair shaved off. Like when i look at certain pics im like YUCK. and when i look at other's i think it's kinda cool. Right now my feelings about this is till... weirded out, but only time can tell as to where she's going with this hairstyle. Hopefully she puts out a statement as to why she did this.
